C.J. Bachér, Prince Kwateng and Tim McGarigle among selections
EVANSTON, Ill. -- The United Football League (UFL) recently held its inaugural "Premiere" Season Draft of the players who participated in the League's workouts in Orlando and Las Vegas, with Northwestern graduates C.J. Bachér, Prince Kwateng and Tim McGarigle earning selections.

Northwestern Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald Agrees to New Deal, Signed through 2015
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern University Director of Athletics and Recreation Jim Phillips announced today that the University has extended the contract of Head Football Coach Pat Fitzgerald through the 2015 season. Fitzgerald has been a member of the Wildcats' football coaching staff since 2001 and NU's head coach since 2006.

Northwestern Announces Start Times for Three Big Ten Football Contests
EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern and the Big Ten Conference announced kickoff times for three Wildcat football games today.

The Wildcats' homecoming game versus Indiana on Saturday, Oct. 24 will begin at 11 a.m. CT. Northwestern's two road games at Purdue on Oct. 3 and at Michigan State on Oct. 17 -- both homecoming contests for the home school -- also will kick off at 11 a.m. CT (noon ET).

Television plans for these three games have yet to be determined.
